Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Like last year Germans can reserve a spot to be among the first to order an iPhone 5.

The German Telekom has started the iPhone 5 reservation option. This is not the iPhone 5 pre-ordering. The Telekom says that customers will be served first who apply for the so called "Premieren-Ticket."

I signed up for the Permieren-Ticket last year at the iPhone 4S launch. When I pre-ordered the iPhone 4S nobody wanted the reservation number on the Premieren-Ticket. My guess is that this does not give you any advantage, but it gives the German Telekom a great indicator of the demand for the iPhone 5. I did it anyway. Maybe the Telekom is handling things differently today.

If you are in Germany you can sign-up here for the iPhone 5 reservation. Via iPhone-ticker.

The iPhone 5 pre-ordering is expected to start on September 12th right after the iPhone 5 announcement.
