Apple iPad mini Production Volume is 4 million per Month starting September

Apple's rumored iPad mini tablet has supposedly already been in production since June and will reach peak production in September.

Apple stock is on a role. As reported yesterday, Apple is now the most valuable company of all time. There are plenty of reasons for that. The iPad mini is one of them. The rumored 7.85-inch iPad is supposed to go on sale next month.

Digitimes reports today that supply chain sources say that the iPad mini production will reach 4 million per month starting in September. This means Apple would flood the tablet market with about 12 million iPad mini the crucial Holiday shopping quarter. To sell 12 million iPad mini tablets, the price needs to be really low. I would say $299 would do the trick.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPad mini along with the iPhone 5 on September 12th.
