No more World of Warcraft for Iran

Players of Blizzard's video game World of Warcraft from Iran have been hit with sanctions from the United States. Iranian players have found themselves blocked from accessing Blizzard servers to play World of Warcraft. Blizzard finally confirmed that they were unable to access servers from Iran due to US economic and trade sanctions.

Apparently, the sanctions against Iran have been in place for a while and it appears Blizzard is just now enforcing the sanctions. It appears Iranian fans of the MMO game have no recourse and simply won't be able to play any longer.
