Besides new games Nintendo also unveiled an entertainment service called TVii. TVii is a unified interface to TV shows and movies. It looks pretty cool. You choose what you want to watch and then you can decide if you get it from live TV, Netflix, Hulu or your TiVo. TVii looks much better than Google TV from the start. If TVii works as advertised it makes the Wii U a really attractive alternative to the Xbox 360. The Tablet controller is also perfect for the TVii service.
The Wii U Basic with 8GB matches with Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect pricing. If you are in the market for a home gaming console this Holiday season the Wii U is worth checking out.
