iPhone 5 Shipment Delay is now 2-3 Weeks

The iPhone 5 shipment is delaying further. Now the Apple Store states a 2-3 week shipping time frame.

The new iPhone 5 went on pre-order on Friday. Within one hour the shipping estimate for the iPhone 5 slipped to 2 weeks. If you pre-order an iPhone 5 right now the shipping delay is already 2-3 weeks. The only chance to get an iPhone 5 now in time is to line-up at an Apple Store or carrier store this Friday at 8:00am. The lines have though already started to form on some Apple Stores.

The 2-3 week iPhone 5 shipping delay is global.

We are likely the hear from Apple this week that the iPhone 5 has been pre-ordered in record numbers.
