Camera offers 24x optical zoom

Casio has unveiled a new digital camera that has a resolution of 16.1-megapixels. The biggest feature the camera is its 24x optical zoom and CCD shift image stabilization. Casio rolls in a number of artistic filters and photo effects as well as a number of automatic shooting modes.

The camera can record 720p HD resolution video and has a three-inch rear LCD. The camera runs on an internal rechargeable battery that charges using a USB adapter. Official pricing and a launch date for the camera are unannounced. It will come in three colors including black, white, and red.
