Softbank rumored to buy $12.8 billion Stake in Sprint

Reuters reports that Japanese carrier is in talks to buy a major stake in Sprint.

Is Sprint soon Japanese? Reuters reports that a source with direct knowledge of the matter revealed that Softbank is in talk to acquire a major stake in Sprint. Softbank is supposed to spend $12.8 billion (1 Trillion Yen). Sprint's market value is $15.12 billion. Softbank would have the majority of Sprint if this deal happens.
