UPS is delivering the iPad and Apple is making sure that nobody will get the Apple iPad early. You will get your iPad on Saturday, April 3rd, if UPS has Saturday delivery in your area.
But how can Apple make sure that no iPad slips through early to a lucky customer? The delivery notices reached lots of iPad customers this week.

Boy Genius Report has a conclusive answer to this question. Apple is holding back the iPads at customs. The iPad is coming into the U.S. from Asia where they are manufactured and also already fulfilled. By holding back the customs papers, UPS cannot process the packages as they are stuck in customs clearance.
