Apple delays iTunes 11

iTunes 11 was planned for October. Now Apple says it needs until end of November to finish iTunes 11.

Apple announced iTunes 11 at their September 12 media event. Apparently Apple has software issues with iTunes 11 as it misses promised release dates. According to CNET Apple has said that it plans now to release iTunes 11 end of November.

"The new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right," Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr told CNET. "We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November."
