Now this is what the competitive mobile phone industry is all about... According to a leaked e-mail to T-Mobile dealers, the provider is willing to give people as much as $350 for their iPhone.

According to the alleged e-mail, "from April 1 through May 19, customers can trade in their Apple iPhone and get up to a $350 credit when purchasing an HTC HD2 at participating T-Mobile Dealers."

The e-mail goes on to discuss the offer itself, but only mentions that people who trade in an iPhone for an HD2 are eligible "for a $100 minimum credit." The clip that was leaked does not mention how to get the maximum $350 bonus.

So the e-mail suggests this promotion is going on now, but we haven't heard anything to corroborate that, and a local T-Mobile store we called in Manhattan could not confirm the offer.
