New Casio Exilim Water Proof Edition EX-WS2

Just in Time for the Vacation Season, Casio announced today the Casio Exilim EX-WS2 a water proof version of the EX-S2.

The transparent and compact water proof case which enables the 2MP EX-WS2 to take pictures up to 3m deep in water.
With the case installed the Casio Exilim is still just Even if the case is installed, the waterproof case 112.5x65.5x23mm in size.

The Casio EX-WS2 is most likely the smallest 2 megapixel camera that you can take under water.

The case colors can be chosen between two kinds of a clear case and a smoked type and between blue grip and a white grip design.

Casio also will release a water proof case by itself, the EWC-1, to upgrade your Exilim you already have.

No dates for US release available yet. EWC-1 will start selling for 10,000yen on April 15th and the EX-WS2 will start selling April 25th in Japan.
