Lenovo Could Buy Palm

Palm's seen better days. Their stock is worth (per share) a bit less than a McDonald's value meal, and their products aren't selling in any sort of quantity. The company is bleeding in the water, and it's clear they won't be able to go on this way much longer. Palm either needs to shape up and start selling fast, or they need a buyer.

Electronista reports that CNBC hedge fund investors have started to speculate about Lenovo buying the company. Such an acquisition would definitely give Lenovo a leg up on their planned entrance into the smartphone game. A LePhone running WebOS would be amazing. The question is...are we the customers ever going to be that lucky?
