EyeToy for Sony Playstation 2 captures player into game.

The EyeToy Game consist of a USB WebCam and the game Software. Players interact with the game via their movements the camera is recording.

So by jumping around infront of your TV you kick virtual objects on screen. The players video image is embedded in the screen.

This virtual reality concept is not new. In the 90s Myron Krueger created Video Place where users interacted with a simple virtual world via video capture.
EyeToy is a tremendous improvement from Video Place as you can see in the photos.
