Earlier this week we brought you news about the upcoming launch of a dual core Atom chip. Now Fudzilla has managed to get their hands on some more info about Intel's upcoming processors. The dual-core Pine Trail M processor will hit sometime in the second half of 2010. Most likely Q4, but the exact date has not been released yet.

These new processors will be clocked at 1.5 GHz (dual-core) and will draw 10W of power, which is actually pretty good. A normal single-core Atom draws 7W to 8W. This dual-core chip won't be quite as power-efficient as the current Atoms, but it should still be able to last a while while delivering vastly superior performance.
