Lenovo was already rumored early April to be interested in buying struggling Palm.
A new rumor today puts again Lenovo on top of the list of Palm buyers. According to sources of Reuters HTC has decided not to bid for Palm.

Lenovo is just now engaging again in the smartphone market with the LePhone in China. The acquisition of Palm would give them their own mobile OS. Despite Lenovo beeing in the Windows camp with their PC and laptop business, the LePhone runs Android 2.1.
