These good days won't last long. Right now, every Tom, Dick, and Cisco has their own tablet project. The market is still new, and right now it is well on its way to flooded. In a few years, things will have settled down, and tablets will be boring. But not today. Today we're going to talk about Cisco's new tablet.

During an episode of CNET's Buzz Out Loud a tipster chimed in roughly 37 minutes in and claimed that Cisco is working on a 7” Android tablet. This slate is designed as a business communication device. Front-facing camera, dual microphones, and other features like VPN access and WebEx are all possible.

We've got no info on release date, price, or anything else hard. Cisco has yet to make an official comment.
