NTT Data announced that it will launch a GPS enabled version of its free blog service, Doblog, for users of GPS-enabled cellphones on March 1.

The two-week limited trial service, to be co-sponsored by NTT DoCoMo, ZENRIN and ZENRIN DataCom, will enable users to associate their blog entries with relevant location information. If, for instance, the user posts a message about a shop, the blog system will add the shop's location information.

About 40 users will participate in the trial service. New Doblog supports NTT DoCoMo's F505i GPS and F661i models. More Details on JCN Network and Impress Internet Watch (Japanese).
