Siemens has traditionally gone with classic in terms of their handsets. Not a lot of bells and whistles although the quality of their phones has been exceptional. Today marks a new chapter for Siemens as they introduce their latest and a first. The CF62 is their first clamshell phone! A unique loop antennae (looks like a little handle) and internal 65K display is targeting the consumer market. The external leaves much to be desired since its a somewhat standard silver and gray with a backlit mono-display, however, a illumination ring around the edge of the phone should help cut down glare as well as offer customization so that it blinks light patterns according to user settings for incoming calls, phone use and message indications.

The unit does not have an integrated camera although an optional unit is available. The weight is approximately 3 ounces and the 130 x 130 main display should offer a comfortable screen size.
