Sony KE-42XS910 42" WEGA Plasma HD-Ready TV sells at $5,999. I-Mag Jet is collaborating with an OEM manufacturer in Taiwan to market Plasma TVs that are 30-50% less expensive than currently available.

I-Mag Jet is able to get a price at less than 10,000 yen (~$91) per inch for its high-end TVs. I-Mag Jet initially release three models including a 42-inch plasma TV that will sell for around 400,000 yen (~$3,700).
Compare that to the current bestelling 42" Plasma TV, the Sony KE-42XS910 42" WEGA at $5,999.
Although there are 42" Plasma TVs retailing at less than $3,000 like the Samsung SPN4235 42" Widescreen Plasma TV.
I-Mag Jet also plans to release cheaper LCD TVs.
