RIM Tablet Rumor Gets More Traction

Early May we already reported about a rumor that RIM is working on a BlackBerry Tablet. Today the Wallstreet Journal reports that RIM is testing a tablet device that is designed to serve as a companion to the BlackBerry phone.

The WSJ also reports about a new BlackBerry phone with slide-out keyboard that is aimed at competing with the new Apple iPhone 4 and the Android smartphones.
RIM is trying to protect its turf with the upcoming release of BlackBerry OS 6.0.
