Analyst: BlackBerry Tablet With 1 GHz Processor, Dual Cameras

If Rodman & Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar is right, the new BlackBerry tablet could be one cool customer. CNET reports that Kumar believes RIM is working on a 7" touchscreen tablet with front-and-back cameras and a 1 GHz Marvell processor. This builds on scads of earlier rumors about a mid-size BlackBerry companion tablet.

Most reports say this device is made to work alongside a BlackBerry phone, although the most recent rumors give it WiFi and a GPS. If RIM has such a gadget in development, it is likely to hit by the year's end. Odds are we'll have another set of rumors in another two months. A pattern is starting to develop...
