Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Silicon Valley's SlingMedia has received some good news recently. First they announced a 10.5Mio. round of financing. Now they also received a CES Innovations 2005 Award and are a finalist for the Red Herring 100 Most Innovative Companies list.

All that with a product that is not on the market yet. The Slingmedia SlingBox is supposed to ship Q1 2005.
We carried a story about SlingMedia's SlingBox the first time in August.
The Slingbox is a device that allows users to watch their entire live TV experience from any device, via any network, anywhere in their home or around the world. The Slingbox connects to and "placeshifts" content from any cable box, satellite receiver, or personal video recorder (e.g. TiVo). Sounds great, will see if it works next year.
