Rumors about the Verizon iPhone have been circulating since a long time now. The latest rumors predict a Verizon iPhone coming in 2011.
TechCrunch published a report over the weekend predicting the Verizon iPhone to launch in January 2011.
The base their report on dynamics in the semiconductor value chain.

Their sources claim that Apple has issued orders for Qualcomm CDMA chipsets that would be needed for an iPhone that works on the Verizon network.
Either way, and I said this before, Apple needs to expand carrier options in the United States for the iPhone to continue the iPhone sales growth. 2011 could be the year that this is going to happen.
