Electronic Paper comes in 2006

Hitachi claims to commercialize electronic paper by 2006.

Hitachi developed a 3mm thick LCD panel in a 7 inch size. The epaper cannot be bent or folded, which for me then is making Hitachi's development not epaper per my definition.
