Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

One of the biggest complaints about TiVo is how they have made it near impossible to extract recorded video off of the unit. Well, today that has all changed with the release of TiVoToGo.

TiVoToGo allows TiVo users to transfer recordings from the TiVo box to a Windows XP or 2000 based PC (Mac support to follow). This means that you can transfer a recorded show to a laptop and bring it with you for viewing on the go, hence the name. TiVo plans to release a DVD burning utility for the new technology as well which will allow users to burn DVD;s of their recordings after transferring them to a PC. TiVoToGo has already started to be pushed out to TiVo Series2 boxes through automatic software upgrades.
