After I reviewed the JVC Everio digital camcorder - the coolest digital camcorder on the planet, I got several questions from Apple computer users, if the JVC Everio GZ-MC200 or GZ-MC100 would work on a Mac as the software bundled with the JVC Everio is only for Windows.

How to use the Everio on a Mac:
The JVC Everio has a built-in Hard-drive that maps via USB without a driver as a drive not only on Windows but also on Macs with a USB port. Now the MPEG (.mod) video files can be easily copied onto the Mac hard drive.
Australian I4U reader Brett recommends to use ffMPegX to convert the video files to be used with iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
