Nokia introduces a new 3G smartphone - Nokia 6680.

The new Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone is optimized for visual sharing, features two integrated cameras, a flash, and a screen of up to 262,144 colors. In addition to the integrated VGA camera (640 x 480 pixels) at the front of the device, the Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone also incorporates a 1.3 megapixel camera (1280 x 960 pixels) with a slide for camera activation and control.

The 6680 is of course based on the Series 60 Platform. It is a tri-band phone for GSM 900/1800/1900, EDGE and WCDMA networks and offers seamless roaming in over 100 countries around the world. The new Nokia 3G phone weighs 133 grams and measures 108.4 x 55.2 x 20.5 mm (104 cc).

The Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone is expected to be available in March 2005 with an estimated, unsubsidized sales price of approximately 500 euros.
