Sony Network Walkman NW-400, NW-500 Series Officially Announced

The new small stylish Sony NW-E505, NW-E507, NW-E405 adn NW-E407 appeared first time in a Sony catalog in the Netherlands. We reported about this in February.

The Sony Network Walkman NW-E400 series features a 3 line Organic EL display and plays MP3 and ATRAC3plus. The NW-E403, NW-E405 and NW-E407 feature 256MB, 512MB and 1GB of storage space respectively.
The NW-E500 series adds a FM-Tuner to the package. The NW-E503, NW-E505 and NW-E507 feature 256MB, 512MB and 1GB of storage space respectively. Both new Sony Flash based mp3 players feature a 50 hour play-time on a single battery charge.
The new Sony iPod shuffle competitors are in stores in April.
Sony also announced the NW-E100 series, which I do not find very interesting besides that the sport 70 hour battery life. The disc-shaped small NW-E103 (256 MB), NW-E105 (512 MB) and NW-E107 (1GB) are more aimed at teenagers.
