Sony Europe introduces the NAS-CZ1, its new Network Audio System (NAS).

The Sony NAS-CZ1 streams music stored on a home PC. Multi-room capability is supported, where consumers can connect multiple NAS-CZ1s to one PC. The Network Audio System connects via LAN cable to the network. For wireless access an Ethernet bridge is necessary.
the NAS-CZ1 allows automatic connection to a wide range of music jukebox software (including Musicmatch, Windows Media Player, iTunes, and SonicStage4 via the supplied software M-crew Server. This is quite amazing that Sony offers a product that works with Apple's iTunes. I applaud Sony for this very consumer friendly move.
The NAS-CZ1 is compatible with MP3, WAV, OMG, WMA and AAC. It is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compliant.

The NAS-CZ1 will launch in Europe in July 2005, no pricing available yet.
