Japanese Tech-On (Nikkei Electronics) interviewed George Lucas about Digital Cinema technologies.

The interview is an interesting read. Mr. Lucas talks about the past use of digital technology in his blockbuster movies.
He also talks about the future in cinema technology. Interesting is the part about how consumers will be able to download new movies from the net and watch them in their private little cinemas. George Lucas still thinks that the community experience of watching movies in cinemas will survive.
