Swedish MP3 company Jens of Sweden filed for bankruptcy.

We reported several times about Jens of Sweden MP3 players. The company tried to market with flashy design and special edition players like the 24 karat golden MP3 Player. Flamboyant Jens Nylander, CEO of Jens of Sweden is giving himself still optimistic and says he will continue selling digital products. And why shouldn't he be. He is now what, 26 years?

Jens Nylander tried to control the Swedish MP3 player market against the large Apple and Korean competition. He also recorded a song claiming that he sings better than Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

Jens already has set up JOS AB that takes over the Jens of Sweden operations. In the early days of Jens of Sweden I also reviewed one of their players with integrated FM Transmitter.
