A design student from Brunel University thought up a handbag that has an illuminated interior powered by solar panels.

The Sun Trap handbag has an electroluminescent interior that lights up when the bag is opened. The idea is to find keys easily amongst all the 'unnecessary' stuff women carry around in their bags.
More details on the designer's site. More background information on BBC News. Design students from Brunel University in the UK have already come up with several cool gadget ideas. See the Swim Goggles with Integrated Display or the MP3 Player in Swimming Goggles.
