Canadian Research in Motion announced their new Crackberry, sorry Blackberry 8700c on Monday.

Several media outlets have published reviews of the new EDGE enabled Blackberry 8700c available from Cingular starting November 21st.

Regarding the legal issues around a patent dispute with NTP, the NY Times mentions that Blackberry would have a work-around for the technology in question to continue offering its products in the US.

The Blackberry 8700c is the first Intel CPU based Blackberry. Other features include QVGA color (320x240) LCD screen, new software platform, Bluetooth and smaller form factor than former Blackberries.
