Wired News has a story that captures the whole Sony rootkit topic. I followed the developments over the last weeks, but I just did not think it through like Bruce Schneier is doing in this story.
In this nicely written piece he touches on all aspects key developments and ends up
blaming mostly the security software companies not to have spotted Sony's home phoning rootkit, which was distributed via audio CDs since mid 2004.
He has a striking argument there.
It is worth reading the whole story.
