Sony releases a new firmware update for the Sony PSP.

The highlights of the Sony PSP Firmware 2.60 are RSS feed support and WMA music file playback functionality.

The WMA support does not include WMA-DRM, but some kind of DRM support for video content.

Of course a RSS reader is a nice feature too. These days almost anything can read RSS feeds, so it is kind of expected. The new version can be downloaded on Sony Playstation site and on the YourPSP site. The file size is 18MB.
