BenQ officially launches BenQ-Siemens brand after their acquisition of the Siemens Mobile unit in 2005. BenQ-Siemens also introduced the S88, S68 and EF81 mobile phone.

The BenQ-Siemens S88 is a 2.0MP camera phone with auto focus, 16x digital zoom and LED photo light. The S88 has 16MB internal memory that can be extended via microSD card. The new phone features a 2 inch OLED screen. A MP3 player and Bluetooth is of course also available.
The BenQ-Siemens S88 will be on retail sale from the first quarter of 2006. The S88 looks like a solid phone. Wonder how the user interface of this still very Siemens looking phone.The BenQ-Siemens S68 features a brushed aluminum casing and is only 13mm thick and is supposed carrying the new look of BenQ-Siemens. The straight forward phone without technical gimmicks. Available in February 2006.

The BenQ-Siemens EF81 is a UMTS (3G) phone with a 2.2 inch display and 2MP camera. BenQ is proud of he fact that the EF81 is only 15.9mm thick. Available in Titan color this March.
