emWave is a start-up company that currently only has one product that's commercially available -- the "Personal Stress Reliever". The deceptively simple-looking device displays your "level of heart rhythm coherence" in real time. I'm not a doctor, but apparently that has something to do with an imbalancing of your nervous system, heart, etc, which causes the feeling known as stress.
So when the device recognizes that your heart rhythm coherence is out of whack, it guides you through instructions on how to bring that level back to a normal level, by things like breathing and mental exercises. It also comes with a computer software program that helps you better control stress in various situations. With this package, you'll hopefully be able to get stressed out that often -- that is, after you're finished getting stressed out from spending $200 on it.
Available at Heart Math Store. Via Medgadget.
