Benchmarks

Features & Specifications
The Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset body is made from a light aluminum alloy for comfort. The headset has a built-in condenser mike and a soft touch button for answer/end of calls and song pause/skip. The Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset uses an in-ear style, but is not an isolation style headphone.

Foam covers for the headset ear pieces are included and a 2-foot extension cable is provided along with a carry pouch. The drivers are 15mm neodymium and have a frequency response of 18Hz-22KHz. Sensitivity is >100bB and the mic sensitivity is 44dB with a frequency response of 20Hz-16KHz.

In Use
The Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset fits perfectly into the recessed headphone port of the iPhone, which is expected since it’s made for the iPhone. The mic is positioned very well for good voice quality on calls and is small enough to not be particularly noticeable when you are wearing the headset.

The Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset are well built and are made from aluminum alloy making them very light. After wearing them for a while you don’t even feel them in your ears. The cable is plenty long to ensure that you don’t run out of cable while exercising or moving around. The soft button hangs within easy reach right around the chest of most users and can be used to mute the music or answer and disconnect calls.

Sound quality from the Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset is good with nice deep bass and crisp highs and mids. The headset works well for calls with clear and legible speech on both sides of the conversation. The mic does pick up a bit of extraneous room sounds, but not so much to be a real issue.

The carry pouch that is included is small and a bit hard to get in and out of, but works well enough. Most will never use it I am betting. The headphones look good with the combo of matte silver and polished shiny silver with white wire. The MSRP for the Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset is $69.99. If you are an iPhone user looking for an attractive set of headphones with good audio quality the Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset maybe just what you are looking for.

Verdict

Conclusion

Pros

  • Good bass
  • Comfortable
  • Extension cable included

Verdict
The Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset is an attractive and well built headset that works equally well for listening to your favorite tunes and making calls. The Maximo iP-HS1 iMetal Stereo Headset will be perfect for most iPhone users.
