The Japanese Muu Socia robot has a dropped shaped robot with one very human looking eye.
The Muu Socia is apparently designed for doctor/patient communication. It reacts to voice, has speech synthesis and facial recognition.
The Muu Socia now in version 3.0 is developed by Systec Akazawa and ATR and was shown this week at a medical trade show in Japan.Below is a photo of a very scary looking home appliance control robot that was also shown at this show. Japanese robot designers are definitely the most creative ones these days.
