Sandisk announces a 8GB flash memory digital audio player before Apple does.
the Sandisk Sansa e280 features 8GB and a micro-SD slot to expand the storage up to 10GB.
The Sandisk e200 series supports besides audio also video and photos. The top of the line Sandisk player measures 44x89x13mm).
The width is the drawback of this player compared to the iPod nano.
Here is a review of the Sansa e200 series we reported about a couple month ago.The Sandisk e280 is the latest evolution of SanDisk’s e200 series and is supposed to sell for $249.
