It looks like we are getting a new category of portable music players soon. Photos and some information about a MobiBlu Boxon tiny mp3 player appeared. The Boxon is similar in size and shape to the recently leaked iRiver N20.
MobiBlu knows how to make small portable audio players. The new Boxon features a 1.7 inch color OLED screen, FM-Tuner and VOIP capability. It apparently only comes with 256MB memory. I assume Mobiblu will have different memory configurations when it will be released.
The new category of tiny music players feature a 1.7-2.0 inch color screen on one side, are about 1 cm thick and have the control buttons on the sides.
Apple, when is your all screen iPod coming?
More details on DAP Review. More photos on Buyking (Korean). MobiBlu is not listing the Boxon on their site yet.
