NVIDIA G80 DX10 Cards to Launch Mid-November?

My fellow geeks over at [H]ard|OCP showed off some spy pics Friday that are supposedly of the upcoming NVIDIA G80, or GeForce 8800. Rumor has it the cards are slated for a mid-November launch according to [H].

Eagle eyed readers will notice that not only is this card liquid cooled, but there are two PCI-E power dongles on the beast. I would imagine some manufacturers will run with good ol’ air cooling as well. The dual PCI-E power dongles will mean those wanting to run SLI with the new G80 will need a new PSU. Interestingly, I had wondered why the PC Power & Cooling 1KW TurboCool has four PCI-E power dongles. I had assumed that the Quad SLI specs were changed after the PSU was built, but now it really makes sense that there are four of them.
