The bag weighs 6.5 pounds and is made from real 100% leather full grain boot leather to last forever. There are no parts on the bag to break, it uses buckles and can be converted into a backpack. If you need a larger bag for a bigger notebook, you can opt for the large version at $555 or the XL for $607. If you are the kind that likes to buy quality gear that will last when on the road, the Briefcase Dark Coffee Brown by Saddleback Leather is the bag for you.
