If you’re anything like me you are probably punishing a power strip right now. Ever wonder how much juice your gear is drawing from the wall or feel the need to defend yourself when the wife blames your four gaming rigs for the $400 light bill?

A company called Static! Has a cool power cord called the Power Aware Cord that glows to give you an indication of how much power you are chugging down from the gear attached to it. The more power you use, the brighter blue it glows and the faster the glow pulses.I fear with two gaming systems, two 24” displays and an SLS Audio surround sound system all connected to one battery backup that if I were to use one of these it might go supernova. Though as a plus I bet I could whiten my teeth with all the blue light it would put out. Via SCI FI Tech
