Sony claims the VAIO G series is the world's lightest 12.1 inch notebook weighing only 898g. Very nice!

The Sony VGN-G1KAP features a Intel Core Solo U1300 with 1.06Ghz CPU, 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, DVD multi-drive, W-LAN, FeliCa smart chip, Fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth and additional battery pack which extends the battery life to 12.5 hours.
The Sony VGN-G1LAP differs from the VGN-G1KAP by not featuring a DVD drive.
For businesses Sony offers the FNG-G1AAPSA, VGN-G1AAPSB and VNG-G1AAPSC.
All three run on a Intel Core Solo U1400 with 1.2Ghz and feature 512MB RAM and 60GB HDD. Everything else is the same as for the consumer models. The three business models differ also what optical media drive the have built-in.
Of course Japanese notebook export specialist Dynamism is already all over the new Sony VAIO G1, but they do not have pricing yet available. Find Sony VAIO Deals.
