Alienware is the high-end maker of some fantastic looking and great performing laptops and notebooks as well as one of the most recent acquisitions of Dell. If you have been wondering if the purchase by Dell has diluted the performance gene pool at Alienware, this is the review for you.

The little beast up for review today is the Alienware Aurora m9700 SLI notebook computer. This system has it all; good looks, speed and performance. You can’t ask for much more in a desktop replacement notebook.Review excerpt: "The quality of the finish was the first thing that caught my eye after the unboxing. I would call it automotive quality, but in all honesty, the paint on my car is not as nice as the m9700. Flawless is a good way to describe the paint.
