Sony announces a new CineAlta full HD cinema camera dubbed F23.
The Sony CineAlta F23 is for real professional use. Sony CineAlta cameras sell for around $80,000. The new F23 weighs 5kg and measures 195×180×190mm. The camera records 1920x1080px with 24 frame-rate.
Sony introduces this new CineAlta along with other professional equipment in time for the Inter BEE 2006 (International Broadcasting Equipment Exhibition 2006) that opened today in Japan.
Sony will start selling the CineAlta F23 in May 2007.
