OCZ is launching what is for now the world’s fastest DDR2 RAM. Their new FLEX XLC RAM is PC2-9200 and can be either passive air-cooled or liquid cooled with attached hose barbs.
The new RAM is available in unbuffered 2GB kits of 2x 1GB sticks and is backed by OCZ’s lifetime warranty. The RAM has latencies of CL 5-5-5-18 and requires 2.35V to operate.OCZ used an 8-layer PCB that integrates thermally conductive power and ground planes to guide heat away from the ICs and maintain signal integrity. Throw liquid cooling on this RAM and you can be sure it will overclock like crazy. You can even increase the VDIMM to + or – 5% of 2.4V without voiding the OCZ warranty.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
