This is a glorious day for television programming in Germany. The Comedy Central TV channel launches today in Germany.
The only big disappointment is that the Daily Show with Jon Stewart is not in the line-up yet. The programming includes lots of new original German programming but also US shows like: Chapelle's Show, Reno 911! or Arrested Development.
Apparently it is planned to bring the Daily Show later this year. An indication that lots of Germans want to see the Daily Show is the fact that the feedback form on the German Comedy Central site already has a Topic to choose from titled "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".
And by the way we also want the Colbert Report in Germany. Just watch Colbert taking it out on the Apple iPhone. The Daily Show and the Colbert Report are must see TV, not just in the United States.
More details on the German Comedy Central site. Comedy Central is available via cable and satellite.
