Sharper Image offers the world's first table HD Radio with The Boston Sound system.
HD Radio is making some progress in the United States over the last 4 years. About 1,200 radio stations are HD Radio enabled. The digital technology provides CD sound quality for AM and FM radio stations. We actually interviewed a HD Radio representative at the CES 2007. HD Radio is free.
The Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD features of course the Boston Acoustics system. Other features include, Line-in, multi-line LCD display with clock and HD Radio text display, head phone jack, 20 presets, settings backup.
The Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD sells for $299.95 on Sharper Image.
The Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD measures 4.5" x 7.5" x 6.75" and the matching satellite speaker is 4.5" x 4.5" x 6".
